Meet the Teams
Use the word 'management structure,' and visions of a company tied up in red tape comes to mind. But not at Autosupplies. The structure of the company gives individuals the chance to shine, while also giving a clear idea to who is responsible for development in each area of the business. Under Managing Director David Clarke is his team of five managers, who look after their five departments. They are:
Each of these managers has a supervisor reporting to them, and then a team of counter staff, drivers, sales people and other operatives reporting to them David said: "Each of these departments stands on its own. Our managers meet with me every month, to discuss how we can work better for our staff and our customers." Suggestions on how to improve ways of working are welcomed through a suggestions box, while staff can also nominate anyone in the company for the Employee of the Year Award - last year won by Refinish Supervisor Keith Hollindale and sponsored by NGK spark Plugs. At the end of the day, this attention to detail means there is one winner - you the customer.
